This policy covers this website — the pages at brightkidzhub.com. It does not cover the things we publish, because each of those has its own policy written for what it actually does. Where to find them is at the bottom of this page.

This site

These are four static pages. There is no account, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comment box and no contact form. The pages carry no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social-media buttons, and they set no cookies. Nothing on them is fetched from anywhere else, so no other company is told you were here.

We therefore hold no information about you from this site, and there is none for you to ask us to correct or delete. If you write to us, we have your email and whatever you put in it, for as long as it takes to deal with — that is the only route by which this site can learn anything about anybody, and you have to start it.

Our host, Google Firebase Hosting, keeps server logs that record requests to any site it serves, in the ordinary way that every web host does. We do not read them for anything about individuals and we do not connect them to anything else.

Each product has its own policy

Different things need different information to work at all, so one policy stretched across all of them would end up either too vague to mean anything or wrong about something.

So every product BrightKidz publishes carries its own privacy policy, which says what that product does and does not do. You can read it before you install or buy anything: it is linked from the product's own pages, and from its listing in whichever app store it appears in.

The commitments we hold ourselves to across all of them, and will not quietly drop:

• No advertising is targeted at children in anything we publish, and nothing we publish profiles a child in order to make that possible.
• No product sells or rents information about a child to anybody.
• Where a product needs to keep something to work, its own policy says what, where it is kept, and how to be rid of it.

Those are stated here rather than only in each product because they are the ones you should be able to rely on without reading four documents.

Children

Everything BrightKidz publishes is intended to be used by children, usually with a grown-up nearby. That is the reason for the commitments above rather than an afterthought to them.

If you believe a product of ours holds information about your child and you want it gone, write to the address below and say which product. We will find it and remove it, and we will tell you what we found.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and the previous version stays available on request. We will not change it quietly.
